Recently we’ve started using video ads in Amazon to improve the click-through rate (CTR for brands that we work with. Videos are a great way to engage shoppers and show off your product in a more visual way. We’ve noticed that video ads have improved the overall click-through rate for the brands we work with. So where do you find these video ads in Amazon?
Click on “Create Campaign’ to find the campaign options below from your campaign management screen:
Click on the “Continue” button under Sponsored Brands. You will see the Video Beta option below as an option:
Once you click “Video Beta” you will enter in the criteria for the campaign. Note that you can only promote a single product with a video at this time. It’s very important to understand the criteria that need to be met to upload a video. The video will need to be approved by Amazon. It says it can take up to 3 days but we have found that they are typically approved/rejected within the first 24 hours after creation.
