Pew Research shows that 96% of Americans own a cell phone of some type, with 81% owning smartphones. That means the vast majority of Americans carry a device that gives them the means to purchase from an e-commerce site.

Months spent at home without the opportunity to travel, spend time with friends or attend events means the home has become a priority. DIY projects, home entertainment options and backyard projects were a focus of time – and online spending – for many.
With online shopping a powerhouse in the retail world, having a website designed for e-commerce has never been more important.
