Remarketing is a unique marketing technique that places your ads back in front of those that have already viewed your website. When people leave your website without filling out your form, purchasing a product, or giving you a call about your services, remarketing acts as a reminder that encourages them to take another look at your business website.

Team WTI conducts remarketing through Google Ads (formerly Google AdWords) by placing a code on your site and setting up rules for how your ads should display. The code added to your site allows a cookie to be placed in the user’s browser, which makes it trigger the ads to display as they visit other websites within Google’s search network.

Since a user that has already been to your site is likely interested in your products or services, this serves as a great reminder to return to the site and revisit your business offerings. Remarketing acts similarly to Pay Per Click, where you will pay a certain amount when the user clicks on the ad and goes to your site. The cost varies depending on your industry and the amount of competition you’re up against.

To get started, our team will work with you to create ads that optimally represent your business. We will then submit them to Google Ads for approval. Once approved, Google requires cookies to be placed in a designated amount of browsers before the remarketing ads will display. Once the ads display, the ad views are called impressions and there is no charge for the number of times your ads are viewed. This allows the ads to serve as a recurring reminder of your business and its offerings. Then, when a user clicks to your site, a fee is incurred, but the action to go back to a site they have visited previously presents a high likelihood of receiving that lead or sale.
